Dr. Holsworth first saw 4-1/2 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Norah in 2016 after her owners were referred to VetSurg for a partial tear in her right cruciate ligament. Norah had TPLO surgery on August 30, 2016 and within three months was back to full capacity.
“The entire staff at VetSurg is amazing!” said Lauren Bowen, Norah’s pet parent. “They are knowledgeable and make sure that you have all the information at each visit. From medication instructions to rehab schedules, all was clearly laid out so that we knew exactly what to expect through each stage of the recovery process.”
In September 2017, Norah’s owners noticed her limping on her left rear leg and immediately knew that she had torn her cruciate ligament. Without hesitation they brought her back to VetSurg where Norah underwent her second TPLO surgery on January 10, 2018. Norah is now six weeks post-surgery and recovering well. “It’s obvious that Dr. Holsworth is passionate about what he does. We are incredibly fortunate to have one of the very best veterinary surgeons right here in Ventura,” said Rita Diaz, Norah’s pet parent.
Norah’s visit reports were always sent to our primary veterinarian by the next day to keep him in the loop. I wish my family doctor’s office ran as smoothly as VetSurg.”– Lauren Bowen
