Administrative Support
Our Client Service Representatives work directly with clients, doctors, and technical staff to provide a positive experience for our clients and their pets. Daily duties include making appointments, managing phone calls, and processing financial transactions.
Our Doctor’s Assistants work directly with the doctors to facilitate clear communication with our clients and referring veterinarians. Daily duties include assistance with medical documentation, managing the doctor’s appointment and surgical schedule, estimate preparation and presentation, and client education.
Our administrative support team work together to provide excellent communication between our doctors, clients, and technical staff. It is imperative that our members are compassionate, excellent communicators, and eager to learn.
Patient Care/Veterinary Assistant
This position involves maintaining cleanliness of the hospital, keeping up with the flow of dirty laundry, and restocking supplies throughout the facility. A person suited for this position is open to direction, demonstrates a willingness to learn, can be trusted to work with minimal supervision, and performs requested tasks in a timely manner. Technical skills preferable include : Intravenous and oral medication administration, radiograph acquisition, venipuncture, in-house and reference lab sample processing, and nursing care of post-operative patients, This position is also expected to feel comfortable communicating with clients, have a familiarity with commonly used surgical equipment, and be supportive in training their peers. A person wishing to apply for this position should possess a high school diploma or G.E.D., and a minimum 1 year of experience is desired.
RVT
We welcome individuals who not only have a strong foundation in the fundamentals of veterinary medicine but also have experience in surgery. The skilled RVT should be comfortable with all duties of the patient care/veterinary assistants as well as the following duties: induction and CRI calculations and set up, controlled drug handling, anesthesia induction and monitoring, post-operative recovery and care, application of post surgical bandages, including soft casts, obtain diagnostic as well as pre and post-operative radiographs, perform comprehensive examinations including all body systems and perform laboratory sampling and interpret lab tests. We appreciate individuals who are willing to share their knowledge with the staff and play an active role in training those who are not yet as experienced. An RVT should possess an active California State license, have a high school diploma or G.E.D., and have a minimum 2 years of experience in the field.
