Dr. Holsworth first saw Winston in October of 2015 after his owners started to see a shaking in his front right leg.
“Dr. Holsworth was wonderful with Winston during his initial examination and in his explanation of what was causing the problem and how to correct it,” commented Jayme Kramer, Winston’s pet parent.
Winston had a genetic deformity of the right forelimb, which Dr. Holsworth surgically corrected in December 2015. This procedure improved the function of the limb, which allowed him to be more comfortable.
Jayme continues, “On the day of surgery, we dropped our little guy off with apprehension and concern about leaving him. However, Dr.Holsworth and the staff at VetSurg put our minds at ease and treated Winston like he was one of their own family members.” When Jayme arrived to pick up Winston the next morning she was comforted to find him happily sitting with the front desk staff.
Following surgery, Winston began rehabilitation and after eight weeks, he was released to full activity. His pet parents report that you would never know little Winston ever had a problem and he’s back to his happy active self. “We are grateful for the incredible experience we had working with Dr. Holsworth and his entire staff. We would always recommend VetSurg and Dr. Holsworth,” stated Jayme.
